"Unknown Type Selector" rule for CSS and SCSS files

Hello,

This is regarding the "Unknown Type Selector" rule for CSS and SCSS files.  I have "md" prefix (Material Design) in my code and this has been flagged as a critical issue.

What is the best practice or element to use.  Thanks in advance.

I think what this issue is really telling you is that you forgot either the leading '#' (id) or '.' (class).
