Sonar imports less rules than exported

Hello All,

I have a Sonar profile that has 606 rules, when I export the rules and then import only 597 rules get imported, any ideas why this is?

Hi,

It can be related to the version of the plugins you're using. If you're using a plugin in version N on your source SQ instance export then import profiles to a target SQ instance running the same plugin in version N+M and if N+M does not handle anymore some rules that were handled in version N (sometimes rules are removed), you'll have such a result.

If there are a lot of custom rules you will loose them:

Thanks for the responses, I checked the versions, all looked okay.

I rekcon it's the custom rule problem as described by CSchulz, I will just recreate them by hand.
