Hi,SonarQube 5.6 was the previous LTS. Since November the new LTS is 6.7. All that to say your SonarQube version is outdated. My advice is to update your SonarQube server + all code analyzers. If you really can't update, then simply use SonarLint in standalone mode, since rules you would get from your server in connected mode would probably be also very outdated.++

Hi guys,
trying to use SonarLint plugin for Eclipse with SonarQube server 5.2. I installed few different versions of a plugin on https://bintray.com/sonarsource/SonarLint-for-Eclipse/releases page going back to 2.0.0. Everytime I get "SonarQube server has version 5.2. Version should be greater or equal to 5.6". Also tried deprecated SonarQube plugin but simply getting 'NullPointerException'.
I'm using Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developers, Version: Oxygen.2 Release (4.7.2), Build id: 20171218-0600 with Java 1.8.0_151 on XUbuntu 16.04.3 system.
Any advice would be appreciated since googling doesn't give anything on that issue.
