SonarLint does not post any results back to SonarQube

We are using SonarLint for VS 2.0+

Currently, we are able to associate the VS solution with the SonarQube project and run a successful builds and analysis with several issues reported.

However, these issues are not reported back in the SonarQube project.Upon  navigation to the SonarQube project, we only see the below message displayed:

"No analysis has been performed since creation. The only available section is the configuration. "

Not sure if we are missing any configuration.

Please advise.

Hi,

SonarLint is "only" about reporting issues in your IDE.

If you want to publish analysis to your SonarQube server you need to use one of a command line tool we call "scanner". For .NET project I guess you need the SonarQube Scanner for MSBuild.

Hi Julien, 

I am not sure if this is true. I am having the same issue as OP. What would be the point of being able to connect to the SonarQube server then? This article says it should be working: http://www.dotnetcurry.com/visualstudio/1306/sonarcube-visual-studio-2015-tfs-build
