Excluding generated sources from manually triggered analysis in SonarLint for InteliJ

I want to scan all project files but exclude generated-sources. When I trigger a complete project scan the generated sources get scanned too. Is there any way to exclude them? 

(I'm using the latest SonarLint on the latest version of InteliJ)

Hi Elisha,

For user-triggered analyses, all sources are scanned. This is a known limitation that SonarLint currently has.

We plan to improve this soon by using many of the exclusions that are already being applied in the analyses that are automatically triggered.

Hi Duarte,

Does that imply that even if I set exclusion patterns like **/*_.java (to exclude generate files like SomeClass_.java) will not be applied for user-triggered analyses in Intellj IDEA?

In fact, that is what I observe... whatever patterns I specify for the exclusions (via File > Settings > Other Settings > Sonar Lint General/Project Settings), they seem to be ignored when doing a manually-triggered full project analysis.
