I noticed one point, there are less Lata solos with HK as MD.
If we compare with other MDs like S J or Naushad or Madanmohan.
May be partly due to, H K also used Geeta dutt in many films.
Interestingly, out of her solos in Bengali films, at least four songs were in Hindi, 2 for the film Shesh Parichay (1957) and two for the film Aalor Pipasa (1965). And the lyrics for the former film was written by Ravi Shankar Sharma (Ravi), who was his assistant at that time and for the other film the lyrics was penned by Kaifi Azmi.
In 1991, The Guinness Book of Records once again listed Mangeshkar as the most recorded artist in the world with not less than "30,000 solo, duet and chorus-backed songs" recorded in 20 Indian languages between 1948 and 1987.
The haunting song of Mahal, Aaeyga aanewala and Mushkil hai bahut mushkil, composed by Pandit Khem Chand Prakash and written by Nakhshab Jarchavi, were super-hits. Lata soon became the most sought-after singer of Bollywood, and in addition to thousands of solo songs, she sang duets with leading male playback singers, such as Rafi, Mukesh, Kishore Kumar, Talat Mahmood and Mohinder Kapoor. The younger generation of film singers that succeeded the above, like Kumar Sanu, Sonu Nigam, Shabbir Kumar and Udit Narayan, would feel pride in singing duets with the legendary Lata.
