SBC Google groups- a primer redux

Hi everyone there was a little confusion with a few of us over the current SBC mailing lists. I dug into this and just so we're all clear, here's the scoop: We just use Googlegroups for communicating to groups of email addresses (as far as I am aware)

• sbc-m...@googlegroups.com- The current 12 members of the SBC

• somervi...@googlegroups.com- Our SBC Announcements List, currently 407 members. This is the one we add new emails to when people sign up at our tabling events

• sbc-...@googlegroups.com -Our SBC volunteer list, with currently 61members. We don't keep up with this one very often to be honest
  

We don't use the old s...@lists.bostoncoop.netanymore to my knowledge, I would bet it is woefully out of date.

Let me know if I have any of this wrong, but I am pretty sure this is the current state of email group affairs.

That being said, I sent out an email to the somervillebikes google group about our two upcoming events, the historic bike ride and the Bike Talk Series. Did anyone get that email? I didn't. But it looks like it went out according to the sent folder. Maybe it goes to junk folders?  The email title was Two fun September bicycle events from the Bike Committee
