Dear Somerville arts community,
We are showing a feature film, "A Foggy Tale" (2025). Set in 1950s Taiwan during the height of martial law, the story follows the road trip adventures of a young woman seeking to bury her brother, who had been executed by the government. It's a story that highlights the decency, resilience, and solidarity of ordinary people and communities, in the face of institutional repression and mistrust.
We hope that this movie will resonate with Somerville's diverse audience and contribute to our rich local arts culture!
