Jinxland presents: Sorcerer’s Soiree

Sorcerers' Soiree is a summoning of music, dance, poetry, divination, fashion, witchy wares and interactive art. This is a chance to assemble in person, to share space and share joy. Bring your body, your spirit, and your voice. The magic only happens when we're together. Come ready to be enchanted.

Tickets start at $20, but we kindly request that if you can afford to pay more that you choose one of our other ticketing tiers ($25 or $30). It takes many people and much work to put on an event like this so any additional funds you can help with are greatly appreciated!

Music!

The Macrotones

Established in Boston in 2007, The Macrotones are a 10-piece unit steeped in off-beat funk & soul rhythms from all over the globe. Blazing horns meet mighty hooks for a progressive mix fit to fill any dancefloor. The Macrotones tightly-honed grooves and infectious sound has shared the stage with like-minded practitioners such as Lee Fields & the Expressions, Durand Jones & the Indications, the Budos Band, Grupo Fantasma, Orgone, Ikebe Shakedown, and Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars. Since typical genre descriptions fail to fully capture the scope of the Macrotones’ sound, new monikers need exploration: imperial funk, astrobeat, or even “a soundtrack for spies” all fit.

Check out their incredible album, From The Void, available now !

Artists!

Leather Pixie

Leather Pixie began the adventure in leather work at 19 when they got a job at Cellar Leather in Hyannis on Cape Cod, MA. For years is was a passion hobby then in their late 20’s decided to start selling at markets. Now with 20 years under their belt they are dipping their toe into the virtual marketplace. Creating an array of items and styles of leather craft they have expanded their inventory from a small tables worth of hand made one of a kind items to a huge inventory with lots of size choices and so many shiny things.

Conjure And Cauldron

Conjure and Cauldron's fascination with remains began early. Drawn to bones in the woods, feathers caught in branches, the quiet evidence of life after life, where others saw only something strange. That curiosity grew into reverence for how creatures are built and how nature transforms what it leaves behind. Many of their pieces are used in osteomancy and other magical arts. She sees this as part of an old, ancestral thread of reading remains and natural signs to understand life's deeper patterns, approaching each piece with care and transforming what remains into something meaningful, respectful, and worth remembering.

Danimal Welder

Danimal Welder is based in Salem Mass. He's always been drawn to creating art in any form & has been working with his hands since the age of 14. In his late 20s, he fell in love with welding and what he could do with scraps found along the way. Father of 2 girls age 17&10 and a mechanic at heart, Danimal Welder, takes pride in learning something new everyday. You can often find him working on go karts, mini bikes, and motorcycles. Ultimately, he just likes to make people smile.
