We're accepting signatures for our FY27 House and Senate Budget advocacy letter for arts, culture, humanities, libraries and tourism until 5 PM tomorrow.

 

Last week, Gov. Healey filed her budget (H.2) and proposed $27.3 million for the Mass Cultural Council. We're urging the House and Senate to maintain this level of funding in their budget proposals and keep strong levels of funding for our other priority line items and policies.  

 

By signing on to this letter, you'll also add your name to a thank you letter to the Healey-Driscoll Administration for their support for the creative sector in H.2, as well as take the pledge to support these priorities during Creative Sector Advocacy Week.

TAKE THE FEDERAL IMPACT SURVEY

 

RESPONSES DUE BY FEB. 17TH AT 5 PM

 

 

We're partnering on a federal impact survey with Arts4NHCT Arts AllianceCultural Alliance of MaineNew England Foundation for the Arts, and the Vermont Creative Network to hear directly from you about how lost federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), or Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) has impacted your organization’s operations, budget, staffing, and programming.

 

If you lost federal funding between January 1st to December 31st, 2025, please complete our survey before Tuesday, February 17th at 5 PM.

 

If you DID NOT lose federal funding but your state funding or private philanthropy has been affected by these disruptions, please still complete the survey.


The survey takes between 10 - 15 minutes to complete. All data will be aggregated and individual data will remain anonymous, unless you give us permission to attribute your story.
