Hi Somerville Arts Community!

My name is Rachel Tam and I'm a DJ (DJ aka RAT) who has been in Somerville/Boston since 2023 but am going to be leaving the country due to unexpected visa issues 🥲

I'm throwing a going away party at the Crystal Ballroom on Saturday 8/29 where all proceeds will go towards LUCE and supporting one of the DJs on our lineup who's cousin got detained by !CE. We have an all immigrant/children of immigrant DJ and drag performer lineup.

Official event description: Join aka RAT and an all-immigrant/children of immigrants DJ and drag performer lineup for a LUCE fundraiser to celebrate aka RAT’s time in Boston! This dance party celebrates the vibrant contributions immigrants have made to Boston and its art scene. All proceeds for this night will go towards LUCE to protect our communities.
