Somerville Songwriter Sessions is looking for a new venue

Hi everybody -

We five musicians host the Somerville Songwriter Sessions, a mostly-monthly event featuring the best of up-and-coming local and regional songwriters. SSS has been running for more than fifteen years, and up to this point, it's been presented at the Rooted Cafe at the Somerville Armory. We’re currently exploring alternate venues, and we’re hoping that this community will have some recommendations for us.

We’re currently targeting our fall 2026 season, starting in September, for this candidate venue. The ideal venue would be available on a weekend evening (preferably Saturday), with a small stage and sound system. The capacity of the room would be on the order of 40 or 50, and would ideally be close to public transportation, in Somerville or a nearby city. We’re planning on casting a fairly wide net, so any ideas would be welcome. Please send us your suggestions at somervillesong...@gmail.com
