Terra Firma, an exhibit of artwork by Nancy Hall Brooks, will be on display October 4 - October 23 in the auditorium of the Central Library, 79 Highland Ave, Somerville, MA.

Please join us for a reception and q & a with the artist on Friday, October 10 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.

About the Exhibit:

Brooks’ artwork layers personal imagery with reflections on global events. Terra Firma is an ongoing series of paintings and prints that respond to the global crisis of human displacement; one wrought by war, poverty and climate change. 

The artist is a recipient of a 2025 Artist Fellowship from the Somerville Arts Council. She wishes to thank the SAC and the Massachusetts Cultural Council for support in presenting this exhibit, a community benefit of her grant.
