Eight years ago I started with an idea--something about generations and what carries through and love/guilt/ghosts/canoes/coyotes. And now this: LAKE SONG. A NOVEL IN STORIES. I’ll be launching the brand-spanking-new book on Thursday, September 11 at 7pm at Porter Square Books in Cambridge (located in Lesley University's University Hall [the old Sears building] on Mass. Ave., right near the Porter Square station commuter and subway stop. Free and all are welcome!

Lake Song won the Grace Paley Prize for short fiction last year, and Mad Creek Books published it. That's exciting, but just as exciting is the fact that there’s free validated parking for Porter Square Books in the lot behind the bookstore.
