Hi all: I hope it's OK to post this to this list of amazing artists? This is an opportunity for the Somerville Community Growing Center, a long-time partner to the Somerville Arts Council, to win some money in support of nurturing our community with healthy greenspace, veggies, flowers and culture, too.

The Growing Center is a contender in the Nature's Path Gardens for Good competition, which supports community garden projects across the U.S. and Canada in growing organic food to nourish their communities. This competition is an amazing opportunity to receive $5,000—just from crowdsourcing votes! We’d be so grateful for your help in earning votes and spreading the word!

 
There’s a short window for voting—it ends at 10 am this Wednesday, April 7—but the top 21 vote-getting non-profit gardens in the competition will be vetted to receive the money. There are currently 24 other garden projects with more votes than the Growing Center. Please help us rack up some points by voting here! (You can only vote once!)
