🌎💬 Applications Are Open! Join the Intercambio Community This Fall 🍂

Hello Somerville community,

Applications are now open for our Fall 2026 Intercambio Language & Culture Exchange Program!

Intercambio brings people together to practice languages, share cultures, and build meaningful connections with people from different backgrounds and experiences. Our exchanges focus primarily on English and Spanish, and we also welcome multilingual participants interested in practicing other languages when possible.

Whether you want to build confidence in a language you’re learning, share your own language and culture, or simply connect with our diverse community, we invite you to apply!

In past sessions, we’ve welcomed participants from Colombia, Peru, Mexico, El Salvador, India, China, Brazil, Haiti, Guatemala, the United States, and beyond.

Fall 2026 Intercambio

• When: September 28–November 23 (8 Mondays)|6:30–8:00 PM
• Where: Connexion, 149 Broadway, Somerville

Application deadline: Monday, September 21 (at noon)

Intercambio is designed for participants who have at least an intermediate level in the language they would like to practice, as sessions are centered around conversation and cultural exchange. Because Intercambio is an application-based program, applications are reviewed to create balanced language pairings and a supportive group experience.
