The group is based in Somerville and performs in the U.S. and abroad. They’ve been praised for “vitality and character, style and verve” (MusicWeb International) and called “a powerhouse of great playing” (Classical Voice of North Carolina). Founded in 1985, Ensemble Chaconne is celebrating its 40th season this year. The group is managed by Americas Musicworks of Somerville.
