🌟 Spanish Speakers: Join Intercambio Winter 2026 — Just 5 Days Left to Apply

Hello Community Members,

 

We’re excited to invite our Spanish-speaking community to take part in Intercambio Winter 2026, a welcoming language and culture exchange program offered by the Somerville Arts Council.

 

At this point, all spots for English native speakers are full, and we’re especially hoping to welcome more Spanish speakers to join the program and help make this exchange as rich and balanced as possible.

 

What is Intercambio?

Intercambio is a community-based program where neighbors come together to practice languages, share cultures, and connect with one another. Each session is divided between two languages, so everyone has the chance to both learn and teach in a friendly, supportive environment.

 

Who is it for?

Intercambio is best suited for adults with intermediate or higher English proficiency who feel comfortable participating in group conversations.

In addition to weekly sessions, participants can also take part in optional cultural activities, such as outings, events, and a final global potluck that brings the group together at the end of the session.
