Friends of the Arts!

The Social Action Committee of The First Church in Belmont, Unitarian Universalist, is seeking new artisans who would like to offer their work for sale at this year's Social Action Holiday Gift Fair.

The fair will be held on Sunday, December 7 from 12-4 pm in our Parish Hall at 404 Concord Ave in Belmont. Participation offers artists the opportunity to market their work at the fair while at the same time supporting the church's robust social action program (including migrant and refugee support, voting rights, climate justice, LGBTQ+ rights, and the Legacy of Slavery Project) or a charitable cause of their choice that is aligned with our UU values. We invite artists to participate for a 50/50 share of profits from sales at the fair. Last year’s fair raised over $16,000 for a myriad of causes.

Can you help us spread the word?

Interested artisans are invited to contact us at holiday...@uubelmont.org for more information. We are excited about welcoming new artists and organizations with gift items to sell as we seek to put together a good mix of art work/gift items for sale at the fair.

Please help spread the word. Many thanks!
