You’re invited to Popcorn Comedy: an intimate 30-seat comedy club hidden in the basement of the Somerville Theater!

Our next show is September 17 with the hilarious Rebecca Kaplan as our headliner. Known for her adorably awkward stage presence and acerbic wit, Rebecca is a rising star in the New York comedy scene. She has appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman and has been featured on SiriusXM, NPR, and the front page of WorldStarHipHop. Rebecca has performed in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, and she co-hosts the Bad Fan Fic podcast. We're thrilled to have her headline!

- Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 7:30pm.

- Come early to watch classic cartoons on the big screen.

- Grab candy, popcorn, and fountain drinks at the theater's snack bar or bring your own!

- Outside food and drink are allowed at the show (aside from alcohol).

- Beer and wine are available in the lobby.

Opened in 1914, the historic Somerville Theatre is conveniently located right next to the Davis Square T stop on the Red Line. Parking is available nearby. We can't wait to get things popping at the show!
