Please help. http://occupyboston.com/ Donate money for help with legal fees. Please help. Media was told to leave for their own safety last night around 11pm prior to police showing up in riot gear and spraying protesters with pepper spray. Not much media came out of this, but see: http://www.livestream.com/globalrevolution for some excellent independent coverage.

Tonight was a night of aggressive behavior across the country where police went in and destroyed camps. Seattle and St. Louis were also attacked by police tonight, among other cities. twitterfall.com search for occupy seattle and other occupation key words.

This is part of a bigger pattern where police tried to break up occupations after midnight when the night's TV news is over, and public offices were closed. This is a strategy to prevent public interference with their action, and to prevent timely broadcast of this news to regular viewers who could take action.

Atlanta, Dallas, Boston, St. Louis were all attacked tonight. There were threats of arrests in Seattle.

Also in Boston, The police attacked veterans who were demonstrating peacefully, among others this evening, ripping down protesters' tents, and trashing the occupiers' personal property and signage. Different reports estimate around 100-150 people were arrested. The occupy community continues the protest at www.occupyboston.com and on facebook. We will not stop until we see the changes we hope for.

I was told by one independent reporter today that women were being arrested even though there is no room for them in local jails.

Please show your support. If you live in Boston, call the mayor and tell his office that this kind of behavior is BS, and donate to www.occupyboston.com to help pay legal fees.
