we have a temporary new home!

Do you miss us? Do you want us back in your life the way we need you
back in ours? What if there was some way to ride a magical rainbow
bridge from davis square straight to our temporary new home! What if
we had a new home AND an espresso machine? Would you come to see our
shining faces? Hey, chai guy....hollaaa!! and what about you lady latte
with the soy???
And what if it was on Somerville Ave? What if it was in a bar in the
daytime, before they open? I'm gonna go. Because, listen, we're going
places... eventually. But in the meantime, we are going into exile and
we invite you to hang out with us. In exile. It'll be great! It'll be
at Razzy's!
Ruth and Nancy, the owners of Razzy's, were nice enough to say we
could come in, install an espresso machine, and get coffee grinds
everywhere as long as we leave before they open and save them a cup of
our coffee! So we can open from 8 am till 3ish or 4! It's so great! We
have a home!!!! (until we can find a real home!)
We can also have Coffee and Karaoke (C&K)! This new set up is great
and soon you will see. You can wake up and get coffee and stay till
four and switch over to beer. You can spend your entire day in one
place... or just drop by and say hi and grab some joe on the go.
So, we're gonna take a trip to Vermont next weekend and pick up the
Espresso Machine of Glory, and then set it up and stuff. It'll be
glorious. We're going to do other stuff too, in Vermont. We're making
t-shirts now. Soon you'll be able to get them at the Razz.
Oh yeah also they have really clean bathrooms so we can't mess them up.

You ask? Walked past the Old Spot today, saw the lock on the door and
the dismantled interior, and nearly shed a tear. Craig Swanson
happened by just in time to save me from doing that most un-guy thing
and sniveling in public. Best news I've had in a while.
