to Someday Gardens CSA
It's beginning to feel like Fall! Hope you're enjoying the cooler
weather and back-to-school season.

Someday Gardens was at the Lake Mills Farmer's Market and Oconomowoc
Farmer's Markets last week. We sold out of our Carola potatoes in
Oconomowoc. We do still have some more in the ground, and will be
digging this week, so if you want more Carolas, please be sure to get
your order in now. We are giving our CSA members the first crack at
them. We will also have Kennebecs again this week (a perfect baker/
masher). New this week will be a favorite of many--Purple Vikings.
Purple Vikings have a very purple skin, but a bright white interior.
They are a good potato for almost any use, with a great, slightly
sweet flavor. Leave the skin on in a roast for a surprising splash or
purple, or peel them and use for a pure white mash. All of the
potatoes we have available this week are $1.50/pound. Please e-mail
me at mer...@somedaygardens.com or ecomama...@gmail.com with your
order. Thank you!
