Greetings, all!

This week we again have potatoes, peppers, and a new addition:
garlic! There are still a few "baby" potatoes on the plants, but they
have mostly sized up now. Yukon Gold or Carola varieties are still
available, at $1.50 a pound or $1 a pound for 10 or more pounds.
Though larger they still retain their delicious flavor and
tenderness! We've been enjoying them in potato salad, curries, and
breakfast skillets. Beautiful large green peppers $5/pound.

We harvested our garlic and began letting it "cure" last week. You
can use the garlic fresh or let it set up another week or so. It
should keep for a good while (up to three months) in a cool, dry
place. We have Chesnok Red, a sharp, spicy variety, available for 75
cents a head. Music is a large variety with a small number of huge,
creamy and mild cloves. The Music is available for $1 a head.

We also have lettuce ready to harvest again--a red leaf variety or a
hearty green leaf, for $5 a pound. This just came up to size and is
very tender. Please give a day's notice when ordering lettuce since
we only harvest lettuce early in the morning.

As always, you can e-mail your order directly to me at
mer...@somedaygardens.com. Delivery or pick-up is available. Thank
you, and enjoy the harvest!
Sincerely,
Meriah

Just a note that the Music garlic has now sold out. We do still have
some Chesnok Red available. Thank you!
