Someday Gardens CSA week of 8/23/09

The favorites of our potato season have arrived: Carolas! Carola
potatoes are our favorites in terms of overall texture and taste.
They are unbelievably creamy and have a rich buttery flavor. Once
again, our quantities of Carola are limited and we expect to sell out
quickly again this year. If you want to order a larger quantity, we
encourage you to get your order in ASAP. We also have kennebecs
available this week--again, they're a smooth, larger potato that holds
up very well for cooking. We use kennebecs for things like potato
salad and oven fries. Kennebecs and Carolas are both $1.50/pound. We
also have the wonderful red fingerling potatoes (running neck-and-neck
for our favorites!) for $2.50/pound. As always, if you would like 5
or more pounds of any potatoes we are happy to offer you a discount.

We still have fresh herbs and native bedding plants as listed in last

in Johnson Creek or delivery for larger orders is available. Thank
