Dog friendly places to swim?

Any good suggestions? A place for both animals and owners to swim, not just one or the other :-)

Assuming that you go during high tide, Squantam Point is about it for places in/close to Boston. It's not really made for people swimming, but you can wade just fine. Wear sandals, because there's a lot of shells.

If you really want to actually swim with the pup, you're probably looking at the Cape, or maybe a nice pond somewhere a little more inland. I don't know of any, but I've never really looked.
