Per the Somerville Patch, today is the deadline to apply. This is a great opportunity to get involved in some of the decision making that impacts our local communities, from kids, shopping, dogs, transport and greenspace.
Deadline for Union and Gilman Squares Committees
The city is convening two committees to advise the city's strategic planning office on the futures of Union and Gilman squares. The committees will address things like economic development, land use, housing, transportation, open space and quality of life. If you're interested in volunteering for one of these committees, the deadline to apply is today. Contact Stephen Houdlette in the Mayor’s Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development at (617) 625-6600 ext. 2521.
