Ballroom and Swing Dance this Saturday! Plus: The future of our monthly dances.

Can you believe it -- it's time for our May dance already! We hope you'll come dancing this month. We have a special guest for the lesson!

Local swing instructor Alan Brown will be leading the lesson this week! Alan runs a weekly swing dance in St. Mary's City, and he's a local swing dancing legend. Be sure to ask him for more information about the swing dances!

The details for this week's dance:

When: Saturday, May 20, 2017

Lesson 7 to 8 p.m.

Dance from 8 to 11 p.m.

 

Where: Little Flower School, Route 5, Great Mills

 

Cost: $10 per person

 

Details: Put some swing in your spring! Local instructor Alan Brown will teach a swing dance lesson from 7-8 p.m. followed by dancing to music of all kinds from 8-11 p.m. No experience required! Singles always welcome! Bring a snack to share; water and soda will be provided. Cost: $10 per person. The dance is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus of Holy Face Church.

Town Hall Meeting at the June 17 Dance

As most of you know, we are moving out of the area later this year, and Greg and Kim will be moving on in the next year or so. For the dances to continue, we need your help!

We're planning to take a little time out of the June 17 dance to discuss the future of the monthly dances and what our options are. We hope you'll join us with your ideas!
