Summary Note from Regional Flood Task Force Meeting held on 04 May 2020

Dear WASH Partners,

Please find attached minutes of the Regional Flood Task Force meeting that was held on 4 May 2020 in Jijiga.  

Some of the action points from the meeting as noted in the minutes include:

• Task force meetings will be held twice in a week: Mondays at 3:00pm and Fridays at 10.30am
• Sector-based prioritization: DRMB will identify and advise the most priority kebeles for intervention. 
• All cluster coordinators to approach partners and map available resources for this response. DRMB will also approach various line bureaus to support the floods response
• OCHA will develop inter-sector response mapping matrix for response coordination and circulate to all clusters. Clusters will share to partners for effective coordination 
• DRMB to closely monitor weather forecast reports and update the flood task force group regularly.

We are reaching out to those partners who have reported to be planning immediate response (IRC, OWDA, SCI, ADRA, UNICEF) to urgently fill out a "response tracking sheet" to ensure there is no duplication of efforts,
