Subject: Re: Capacity Building training on Chlorination of Drinking Water in Emergencies
Dear Jennifer,
Hope this email finds you well.
I am Alemshet from USAID/OHA and recently I was assigned to be the Primary Point of Contact (PoC) for the WASH Cluster Coordination. Hoping that we shall meet in-person in the near future, I would like to say welcome to Ethiopia and pleasure to meet you virtually.
I would like to share with you a potential capacity building opportunity for WASH implementing partners in the Chlorination of Drinking Water in Emergencies that will be held online over three weeks (December 2-20th, 2024). This online self-directed coursework is estimated to take between 2-4 hours per week. There will also be two live online sessions, facilitated by the Center for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology (CAWST) WASH advisors and trainers. These sessions will take place December 3rd and December 12th, at 18:00 EAT (UTC +3), Kenyan local time.
Registration is open for anyone who is interested in the safe chlorination of drinking water. Please forward this training opportunity for interested partners and they can register here.
Best regards,
