Quick Action Points
- Rehabilitation of urgently required Non-functional boreholes in Daymeed woreda (the only cholera-active woreda in the region). Likewise, partners should consult their offices for solar system correction in the Madane Borehole of Daymeed Woreda.
- OWDA, VSF-S, UNICEF, & SDA should share the WASH Cluster drought Anticipatory Action projects.
- SCI should prepare a concept note of WASH intervention to affected people in the Dawa zone with the support of the WASH Cluster
- RHB should share the detailed plan of the Joint Global Handwashing Day and World Toilet Day events and the template for partners' commitments.

Thanks for your active participation in today’s regional WASH Cluster Meeting, please find attached the meeting materials that are the meeting presentation, Daymeed Water sources functionality) IMC Daymeed quick assessment, and Koloji Water supply system assessment key findings. Thanks to AID also for their interactive brief presentation. The minutes will be also shared soon.
Quick Action Points
- Rehabilitation of nonfunctional Water schemes in Daymeed Woredas, Siti Zone-RWB
- Activation and monitoring of zonal WASH Cluster Coordination in Dollo and Afder/Liban Zone- Cluster leads
- Partners should share any Drought anticipatory projects secured
- Bilateral meeting with RWB, UNICEF, and SCI for Dawa and other drought-affected IDPs
- Preparation and handwashing day and World Toilet day-RHB will share detailed plan for events
- HPC consultation Workshop selected participants should be shared with OCHA-Cluster leads
- Partners should communicate RWB before the concept note preparation for details of water schemes and priority areas
- Partners should submit their monthly progress report through activity info (till 5 Nov 2024)
