The SoMakeIt Member Induction is coming soon!

We are putting a new Member Induction Process in place for all existing and new SoMakeIt members. This is essentially a reading list of rules, policies & processes that have been voted in by members previously, or things that are required for Health and Safety.  We have many existing processes and policies, so it seems sensible to make sure all members are aware of them.

Eventually we will track who has completed the induction with a Google Form which each member will need to fill out on completion.

For now I'd like to get feedback on the content to check if there is anything missing or anything looks incorrect. The documentation will be stored on the SoMakeIt website and will be maintained by Trustees. It will be publicly viewable and eventually linked to from the front page of the website for easy future reference. The new page is:

Please take a look if you can and provide any feedback. We hope to put this in place by the next Members' meeting on 13th December 2022. Please note that the Workshop Induction still has some sections that need completing, but the general list of rules should be understood by all members.
