SoMakeIt AGM 12th Jan 2021

Hi all,

The AGM date and time has been set for 8.30pm 12th Jan 2021.

As this will be an online meeting it may be harder for everyone to speak and so it would be especially helpful to have a clear agenda that we can work through in an orderly fashion.  

As a general principle, resolutions should only be accepted onto the agenda if they are a change of rules or policy, change to the constitution or if an instruction to the trustees to take specific action.

Please submit any resolutions 7 days in advance and use this forum to discuss them beforehand so we have the chance to discuss and amend.  

If you wish to raise any other items during the meeting, either for a member's vote or to make a statement to the meeting, please let us know so we can put it on the agenda and make sure you have a chance to speak.

Chris Murrey has offered to host the meeting on zoom however we will also require a chairperson, if anyone feels able to fulfill this, please respond here.

Link and further details of how to join the meeting will be sent out nearer the time.

1. Confirm trustees,
2. Accounts update 2019/20 (Ed),
3. Members Area update (Dave).
4. Any other business.As yet there is no-one nominated to be chair, if no-one steps forward before the meeting we will nominate someone at the start of the meeting.A zoom link for this meeting will be put up here and googlegroups ahead of the meeting.

Mic, Jeremy,

Thank you both for volunteering, very happy for either of you to chair. I'm sorry we're ill prepared this time around but the agenda is very simple at least. I suspect there will be a few points raised in AOB.

Jeremy you have done this kind of thing many times before so perhaps if you can chair and Mic take notes? Perhaps even literally, if you are up for taking the minutes that would be a massive help :)

I'm very happy either way, perhaps if you are available to join the zoom call prior to 8pm we can go from there?
