Hello,
I stumbled across so loud, and thought it looked good for my game (cross
platform, lightweight, easily extendible etc). I notice the concepts
page (I think it was) mentioned something about 3d panning... is this
something that is planned to be implemented? If so, how is it planned to
be implemented... hrtf? or multichannel audio? etc. I'd really be
interested in hrtf audio through so loud, as the only really good hrtf
engine I've been able to find (that is free and/or open source, along
with cross platform), is LGPL, which is not what I would prefer. Mainly
because I would like (perhaps naively) to static link, and I definitely
do not want to release my source code of my game as it will be a
comercial game.
Anyway, sorry about the long post... I just wanted to see what was
planned, etc as if this was planned I really think using this engine
would be a great asset for my games.
-Michael.

Hi,
3d audio is in the roadmap, but I haven't hammered any details out
yet. It's likely it'll follow openal's math as that seems to be the
common way to do things. HRTF is unlikely, but hey, it's open source,
so maybe you'll submit a patch? =)
