Online meeting to discuss an idea for collaboration

Hello!
Could we meet on Skype one evening this week for 15 minutes or so, to discuss a really interesting idea for a school twinning project.
I have been in touch with a teacher in a very different part of the world, who is looking for a collaboration project between schools, where students with guidance, share stories and learn about culture, environment and climate science and in the process exercise their Internet and e-literacy skills.
The location will amaze you. Northern Siberia in the Arctic!! But even though it seems like two different opposite ends of the world, we share some common factors – need for sustainable management of their environment, conservation, climate change and both are remote areas where people live from subsistence agriculture and where schools can embrace the new Internet technology to build bridges and end their isolation.
We have endangered turtles, they have endangered Siberian tigers, we have sea level rise, they have other impacts such as permafrost melting....
I could imagine a simple collaborative project where we set some simple tasks, for instance write stories about a particular subject (such as the issues above) and then the teachers take the best ones and post them as blog articles. It should require the students to some simple research. I would be very interested in facilitating and mentoring the whole process.
We should also try to measure the educational outcomes including how the thematic approach has supported curricular learning, and with learning to use the technology.
We can also set up some email communication between us. If it works, we can look for some funding to develop the collaboration further, and perhaps even present the outcomes at an international forum.
Can we agree to meet on skype at a certain time one evening this week? Allardyce, SDTC, Eucaltyptus (and Ellison if you can install Skype...)
