Hello toters!

I just wanted to update you all on the tote challenge's pinterest
situation. As you may have heard, this is a new aspect Keren and I
are trying out. Previously we used a picasa album to share photos. I
like the pinterest idea because it will be like a little scrapbook of
our challenge, keeping all our posts, links, and photos in one place.
It takes a while to get the hang of it, but I think it's pretty user-
friendly. There are some hurdles to overcome though. Pinterest is
made to pick up images from the web, so you can't just upload directly
from your camera or computer. If you need some help on this, let us
know. If you totally hate it, we want to know too!

So far Adrianne, Eddie, Jill Tanya, Pam, Gia, June and Christie all
have access to contribute directly to the tote challenge pinterest
board. Thank you and pin away! Rhonda, Gray, Jennifer, Lakshmi, Amy,
Tori, and Juanita have yet to be added. No problems there. There is
no race to get this done, and it is certainly not mandatory.

If my camera's battery ever gets done charging, I'll download a bunch
of pics to picasa and pin a few tonight. I hope you all have a great
weekend.

Happy crafting and big hugs from chilly Montana!
Rikka

So do we pin progress photos of our own things - or other bags/things that are inspiring us for this challenge?

Jill:) happy

Hi Jill!

You are welcome to pin anything that is relevant to the solids-only tote challenge:

photos of your tote in progress
sketches or ideas or techniques you tried out for this challenge - those which worked and those which didn't :-)
tutorials / inspiration from the web

It would be best to leave a description, too.

Excellent question, Jill!

The clutter-buster in me would like to suggest we stick with pins that are directly related to our totes. That would include photos of and posts about our totes. Tutorials and patterns we used.

However, I am really very interested in what inspired your designs as well. To inspire and be inspired is what this competition is all about. So what if we didn't put any limits what we can pin? With so many contributors, it could end up being a huge amount of pins to scroll through. But we won't know unless we try it.

I am open to thoughts and suggestions on this topic. But for now, I say whatever floats your boat.

I need to page up before I comment evidently! Sorry Keren, I hadn't realized you'd already addressed this issue. Looks like we are on the same page though--thank goodness!
