Say NO to extending
the pilot culls!

Dear Supporter,

The pilot badger culls in England have failed, with the number of badgers killed falling way below the required 70 per cent of the badger population.

Now Defra is trying to move the goal posts and extend the pilot culls - join us and say NO to any extensions!

Help badgers. Take action!

Extending the pilot culls beyond the six week period defies the recommendations of the Westminster Government's own scientific advisors, that culling beyond six weeks could result in an increase in the spread of bovine TB. Yet it seems they are determined to plough on... whatever the consequences.

The RSPCA has this week publicly called for greater transparency from the Westminster Government over culling. Virtually no information has been made public about how those carrying out the cull are assessing the humaneness and effectiveness.

The science is clear, to extend the culls would be irresponsible, unscientific, bad for badgers and unfair to the farmers outside the cull areas.

Join us saying NO to the extension of the pilot culls - act now!
