Rally to support fast food workers fight for $15! Thursday, December 5 at 11am Gather at Hull St Library - 1400 Hull St, Richmond, VA 23224

Across the country, low wage and fast food workers have been coming together and taking action calling for higher wages, better working conditions, and the right to form a union. From McDonald's to Walmart, workers and the community are standing up and saying "NO!" to poverty wages from companies raking in billions each year. On August 29, fast food workers in more than 60 U.S. cities walked off the job and were joined by the community calling for "$15 and a union now!" This growing movement has sparked a national conversation about the widening disparity in wealth between in this country. These companies are feeling the heat, several referendums to raise the minimum wage recently passed - including a $15 minimum in SEATAC - so now is the time to keep the pressure on! The movement for justice continues to grow and spread across the country. Join us to stand with fast food workers once again on a national day of action for living wages and good jobs on Thursday, December 5.
