Labindia-GPOD is organizing a a 7 day workshop on Next-Gen Sequencing
Data Analysis at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of IT and Biotechnology,
Katraj, Pune-411046 from 1st December to 7th December 2010. The
topics covered for the training are:

1. Genome Assembly: Reference and De Novo
2. Comparative Genomics
3. Analysis of RNA Seq Data
4. Chip-Seq Analysis
5. Microarray Data Analysis

The training program uses both CLCbio commercial tools as well as
public domain tools. The methods selected are applicable to all
sequencing platforms. Training program is being conducted by the
emminent faculties from the national and international institutes.
Only 20 participants will be selected for this workshop.

The workshop fees is Rs 30,000/- for indian participants and US$
1000/- for the foreign participants, payable in the form of DD in the
name of Principal, RGITBT, Pune. Fees includes workshop material,
coffee breaks, and working lunch. Accommodation charges have to be
paid separately. Help desk will support request for reservations of
the accommodation in guest house or hotels.

Interested participants may send their request application with short
biodata and write up on reasons for attending the workshop to email

sent before 10th Nov. 2010. Selected candidates will be informed by
15th Nov. 2010.
