This is an excellent book recording the history of
this ancient area now set in Dorset (originally
Hampshire) and now part of Bournemouth.
Kinson has a history of intrigue including being part
of the local smuggling scene.
Kinson, with its Parish Church of St Andrew's, is
steeped in local history. Kinson sits near the River
Stour and is adjacent to Lonham, west Parley, Redhill
& Ensbury Park.
This is a reprint of a publication producted by the
Bournemouth Local History Studies.
