The Southwestern Arms/South Western Arms, St Denys suddenly closed 03
March 2018. This was not a
structured closure for a day of stock-taking and passing to a new
licensee. If it is still closed this coming Tuesday then it will
probably be closed for weeks or months.
All I found out was , the keys were left with the regular bar
staff, left in limbo, and with no licensee they could not legally open
the pub.
The manager left on Friday, even leaving her large dog, requiring the
bar-staff to contact a pet rescue organisation .
