Hello advocates for the local economy in Columbus and central Ohio!  SOLE/Think Columbus First is hosting a Brown Bag Lunch and Learn Webinar tomorrow (Tues 11/27) at ECDI, 1655 Old Leonard Ave. Columbus 43219.  SOLE mates and SBB business owners are welcome to attend at no cost. The brown bag luncheon starts at 12:30 pm and the national webinar is from 1 – 2 pm.

The Webinar is described below. The presenter, Kimber Lanning, has a remarkable track record in Arizona for educating government officers and institutional buyers on the far-reaching impact of local dollars staying at home.

Local First Arizona is an organization that has single handedly reversed traditional “big box” contracts into qualified local orders thanks to procurement policies that favor local businesses versus the lowest cost bid. Educating government officers and institutional buyers on the far-reaching impact of local dollars staying at home have made the difference in the region and could be a game changer for the nation. Learn what works, and what doesn’t, when dealing with government procurement in your community.

Contact Chuck Lynd <chuck...@gmail.com> or 614-354-6172 to reserve a seat in the conference room at ECDI.
