Hi All,

I viewed a video on your site that shows the 2x2 board with a green board for a keyboard and mouse. I replayed the video a few times where you mention the name of that shield but can not make it out. Can you tell me what that board is, where to get it, and are there drivers written for the soldercore that will allow for using a keyboard and mouse along with the arcade shield to have this stand alone, non network connected "computer".

Thanks

Iain

Hello,

Unfortunately that shield never made it into production. I will have a look round and see if I can find a spare, unused board...and get back to you.

If you're comfortable at spinning your own PCB's I've attached the design files. We named it CoreInput, there is not much to it really. If you like soldering you could make up something relatively quickly using the prototyping area of the 2x2 shield.

Paul will advise on how to to install the correct drivers.

Kind Regards

Iain

The driver is "PS2-KEYBOARD"; this is undocumented at present.  To capture the input stream form the keyboard and make it the primary input stream you need "PS2-KEYBOARD INPUT".  For the Arcade Shield to function as a standard output device, you'll need "ARCADE-SHIELD OUTPUT".  Again, undocumented as it is a bit of a hack at present.
