Hi everyone!

 

Mass Energy buys wind power from Mount St. Mary’s Abbey on the border of Franklin and Wrentham, MA. The Sisters have committed to living sustainably by the work of their hands (they make delicious candy), and as part of this commitment have installed a wind turbine AND geo-thermal on-site.

 

Now, they have partnered with the Town of Franklin and with Kearsage Energy to put a solar PV farm on their property as well. Tomorrow, there will be a ribbon-cutting for the solar farm and an open house at the Abbey. Come by and check it out if you can!
