There were several pieces of information that I wanted to share at last night's kickoff and my fumblefingers couldn't access them at the time.

The Comm Solar Program Manual:
http://www.facebook.com/l/e2bd0WD0aHTwKakXsLoD1IC_GBw/www.masscec.com/masscec/file/CSII_Solicitation_V6_Final.pdf

This contains all the rules and incentive levels for the grant program - including the Moderate Home Value and Moderate Income Level adders, the equipment that qualifies for the other incentive, and overall eligibility.

 Home Energy Audit Signup
http://www.facebook.com/l/e2bd0UyXgD6oKKo6ZsSA-uWpvZQ/www.homeenergycheck.org

After signing up here the audit company (NextStep Living) will arrange a time to come to your house and perform an energy audit. During the audit they will identify ways for you to save energy (and money), and may recommend some work to be done. This work is what you can get the no-interest loans for that we learned about last night.

Mass Clean Energy Center's Comm Solar Integrator RFP
http://www.facebook.com/l/e2bd0YNXeb_YVAQrDeMpNCBfxAw/masscec.com/masscec/file/RFP_Final.pdf

If you're interested, this contains the requirements for the integrator that will serve our town. It has good information about what the integrator will do during the course of the program.

Thanks!

Subject: RE: Residential Energy Audit Campaign Info

HI Eric,

Its www.homeenergycheck.org  The site is not very informative or reassuring
that you are where you want to be, although there is MCAN contact info on
the second page.  These are sign-ups for Next Step Living to give you a
call. We had one yesterday complete with blower door test. They'll do the BD
test if your furnace adequately exhausts and you don't have knob and wire
electrical wiring  or asbestos.  The MCAN/NSL program goes through June.

Great turn out last night! (I didn't get there until 8)
