Greetings
Jim,
Happy New Year.
As of last week
New England Breeze Solar had completed installing 100 kW
of the 403 kW of solar PV capacity enrolled during
Solarize.
Readers of
Renewable
Energy World.com nominated
Solarize Massachusetts a contender for
"Innovations of the Year" in the Policy category, This,
in itself, is wonderful recognition of the innovation
and effectiveness of the program. Your vote will help
determine if the Solarize program wins this
award.

Massachusetts Program". Voting closes on January
20th.
I did a bit of research last month to put
Solarize into perspective on the national solar scene. I
learned that the household residential solar capacity
(kilowatts / household) that will be installed in
Harvard by the end of the summer will exceed the per
household residential capacity installed in 95% of
California's cities and 98% of New Jersey's cities,
That's pretty a pretty amazing testimony to the
effectiveness of Solarize.
Best
regards,
Jim Elkind
