Canon Dot Patterns on record sheets

So I've got kind of a weird issue. I've been putting together a bunch of record sheets with images on them from the fan-made TRO 3028.

When I first open up SSW and load a mech, I can go to print preview and select the Canon Dot Patterns checkbox, and everything works. Once I open or save any other mech, selecting Canon Dot Patterns (or just leaving the checkbox checked) results in an empty mech outline and no dots inside it.

I've tried clearing user data, and re-downloading the program. Neither one has changed this behavior. Any suggestions?
