I have been using Solaris Skunkwerks lately, and I have to say that it feels very lacking compared to other programs I used, such as Hero Lab (which unfortunately does not have BattleTech). Here is a list of some various features that I would feel extremely grateful for. There are also some mildly frustrating bugs that I have encountered recently.

Features, catalogued in Pseudo-Hexadecimal:
F00: The ability to easily add or view detailed fluff for mechs and weapons from within the program.

F01: The ability to edit custom weapons and equipment from within the program (with a built-in, hard-coded, Master List to prevent accidents)

F02: The ability to lock and unlock a chassis without deleting the Variants and Loadouts

F03: The option to selectively use Variant Construction Rules, such as;
- Optional Dual/Tri/Quad-mount weapons (XTRO: 1945)
- Optional 1st Edition Construction Rules (Battledroids and Black Widow Company)
- Optional variant LAM rules (using AutoMech rules from Nebula California)
- Options to selectively ignore certain equipment incompatibilities, for instance;
- MASC and TSMs
- AES and Targeting Computers
- AES and TSMs/MASC
- Etcetera
- Optional Oddball tonnages

F04: The ability to mix and match Modern and Industrial/RetroTech components, even in Non-Primitive mechs such as Clan OmniMechs (requires Mixed Tech)

F05: Window contents that adjust to fit the resizable window, including scrollbars

F06: Tabs to work on multiple mechs at once

F07: Updated Master List for latest books, including an optional list for April Fool's Products and/or Critter-TEK

Bugs:
B00: Design Quirks are unselectable under certain conditions, with the corresponding tab sometimes not even showing (0.6.83.1)

B01: Automatic Updates cannot be enabled from within settings (0.6.83.1)

B02: Mixed Tech cannot be selected as the default (0.6.83.1)

Bugs:
B01.01: The problem only occurs in Widescreen Mode

B03: Neither Aerospace Fighters nor Conventional Fighters are options in Solaris Armor Works

B04: SAW saves user settings separately from SSW, but the only options to configure all apply to 'mechs

B05: Probably a false alarm (I hope I'm not doing anything wrong), but SSW doesn't detect the custom weapons. I've attached the file so you guys can double-check.

Features:
F08: Why can't I construct vehicles with Endo Steel Chassis, Small Cockpits or Composite Chassis in SAW? In fact, why are SSW and SAW separate programs in the first place? This is made even more confusing with the issue labeled B04, above.
