Anybody on Hawaii interested in Solar Fire, I'd enjoy building
one right away. Some skills in assembly, research, have fairly
well equipped shop (no welder yet), good scrounger.
Personal interests; ceramic kiln, charcoal, up to 20k generator,
stirling.

Dear Carl,

Thanks for posting to the list. It would be great to see a construction go up in Hawaii!

I can also post your message to the website which would have a lot more reach than the google list (which is mostly hear for updates now and again and so the network can communicate if the website goes down).

I can also make you an account on the website so you can post ideas / updates on your project autonomously (this doesn't mean you have to guarantee you'll build a machine, chronicles of why things don't-happen can be just as informative for people planning their own projects. You can also use the site to as a crowdfunding platform, which has worked well for Open Power Nepal.

Best regards
Eerik Wissenz

till eerik gets me set up as separate location, will report here.
Immediate aim is working reflector, Ceramic kiln with working
temp near 1000C. Future intentions include electricity (up to
10kw or more) and biochar .
Initial plan is for 8wide, 7high array, one SF elements. Barring
feedback stress on shaped mirrors, will leave them flat in first
build; can alter them later. 8x7 seems easier to reach, nearer
symmetricStandard time year roundI'm not good iod on computer;
illustrations will be primitive, tardy.

located 19.02N 155.38W . Standard ti.
me year round.

should it not be ;posswible to construct single axis movement,
conforming to arc across the sky, obviating dual axis ?
