As to funding, my intention is to construct a pilot kiln at least
without regard to outside money. If the time for grants comes,
there are some experts here.

Anybody on Hawaii interested in Solar Fire, I'd enjoy building
one right away. Some skills in assembly, research, have fairly
well equipped shop (no welder yet), good scrounger.

I can also post your message to the website which would have a lot more
reach than the google list (which is mostly hear for updates now and again
and so the network can communicate if the website goes down).
I can also make you an account on the website so you can post ideas /
updates on your project autonomously (this doesn't mean you have to
guarantee you'll build a machine, chronicles of why things don't-happen can
be just as informative for people planning their own projects. You can also
use the site to as a crowdfunding platform, which has worked well for Open
Power Nepal.
